SARMA - Serbian Association of Research Managers and Administrators
SARMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the management of national, regional, and international scientific research, development, and innovation projects supported through various funding programs.
The vision of SARMA’s founders is to connect individuals in this field to collaboratively work towards achieving goals, developing and promoting the profession, and strengthening institutional and individual capacities in project management.
Our mission is to create a platform for learning, sharing experiences, and practical knowledge exchange among managers of development and research projects at all levels — national, regional, and international. We carry out our mission through active participation in international and domestic organizations, gatherings, and conferences to facilitate networking and connection of experts in this field.
SARMA focuses on advancing the profession of managers and administrators of development and scientific research projects. We aim to raise awareness of their key contribution in the processes of project preparation and implementation across various funding programs encompassing the economy, academic community, public and private sectors. Additionally, we strive to build a bridge between research and innovation funding organizations on one side, and the scientific community and industry on the other, overcoming cultural, legal, and administrative differences between countries, as well as between academia and industry.
Our goal is to work together to create a better framework for the development of various sectors through quality project management.
